Momentum in Woodstock

Category Property news

The Greeff Christie's International Woodstock Division ended 2019 with just over R50 million in sales for the year, comprising of 35 houses and apartments. The team has continued this positive momentum into 2020, ending January on a high and concluding the month with no less than R6 million in sales turnover!

Following on from the current success and the ever-growing market share, the Woodstock team have been able to improve year after year and we are delighted to see the Greeff Christie's brand leading the way in contemporary real estate brokering in not only Woodstock, but the surrounding areas too.

Justin Nortier, Senior Broker and Woodstock area specialist for Greeff Christie's International Real Estate notes that "what has really set us apart from other operators in the area is our ability to craft bespoke, strategic marketing campaigns for each property that we bring to market and then have these distributed to highly targeted audiences and buyers through various digital marketing channels, as well as proprietary databases that have been built and developed by the Group. By bringing more qualified buyers to a given property it affords us a platform of competition amongst buyers, creating the environment needed to organically drive offer prices for our sellers.

It is because of these strategic marketing campaigns that we have been able to put the properties we market, especially the beautifully-styled Victorian cottages in Woodstock, on a pedestal and allow for more traction from the start when taken to the open market".

Ryan Greeff, Director at Greeff Christie's International Real Estate City Bowl, Atlantic & Western Seaboard comments that "the international market continues to play an important role in Woodstock as the number of foreigners purchasing in the area has proven to persist throughout various economic and political events. Through our exclusive affiliation with Christie's International Real Estate, we are in a unique position to provide sellers with a truly global marketing communications solution when it comes to selling their properties, which has been one of the cornerstones of our success in the area."

Given the above, if you have been contemplating the idea of selling your property in the short to medium term, all data available suggests that there is currently an opportune window in the market to achieve a top price while selling conditions are still amongst the most favourable we have seen in a long time.
