Some of these antelope and predators migrate along a path in a kloof from the plains below to Bergtop on the plato and can be viewed, especially during drier times of the year.

Vrede:
The entrance to the farm leads from the main district D437 road along a 6-kilometre gravel road in a valley to Farm “Vrede”. The D437 is a circle road and leads to and from Bethanie. Therefore, the farm is a very safe place, surrounded by other farms and no stock theft is possible and this farm is in a crime free area.

At the end of the 6km road, the entrance to the farm, the main house, 2nd house, shed, workshop, storerooms, and cooler room, situated in one of the kloofs, meet you on arrival.

A 48kw solar system and 3 boreholes, equipped with solar pumps, supplies power and water to both homes and servants’ quarters (±100 meters from the main buildings.) An 8kw standby diesel generator is included and a concrete reservoir stores water for garden use and feeds two other water tanks via pipelines. A diesel water pump from the reservoir is also on standby and included.
Fruit trees and a veggie garden under 40% shade cloth can supply fresh produce as well as figs, guavas, prickly pears, lemons, oranges, pears, pomegranates & quinces.
